What this is
The discovery questionnaire is a structured set of questions covering the client’s current technology stack, AI awareness, strategic priorities, and organisational readiness. Your answers, combined with documents, interviews, and web intelligence, form the input corpus for the AI analysis step. Discovery is the primary place to capture information gathered in initial client conversations. Before you start
- Your client profile should be saved before starting discovery so that question defaults are pre-populated with the correct industry context.
- Gather your notes from any pre-engagement calls or kickoff sessions with the client.
- You do not need to complete the questionnaire in one sitting; progress is saved automatically.
Procedure
- Open your project and click Discovery in the lifecycle stepper.
- Work through each question section:
- Strategic context, the client’s top business priorities and any existing AI initiatives.
- Technology landscape, current systems, data infrastructure, and integration surface area.
- People and process, team capabilities, change readiness, and existing workflows that could be augmented or automated.
- Risk and compliance, data governance, regulatory constraints, and risk appetite.
- For each question, enter a free-text answer. Longer, more specific answers improve analysis output.
- Use the Add evidence button on any question to attach a supporting document or note from the documents step.
- Click Mark discovery complete when you have answered all required questions.
Limits and gating
- Discovery must be marked complete before the analysis step can be triggered.
- Required questions are marked with an asterisk. Optional questions improve output quality but do not gate progress.
- There is no hard character limit per answer, but inputs over ~1,000 words per question are truncated during analysis.
