What this is

The final report is the consolidated client-facing document that brings together every element of the audit: executive summary, framework scores, opportunity matrix, ROI projections, stakeholder memos, and recommended roadmap. It is generated by the AI and formatted for direct delivery to the client. The final report is the primary deliverable consulting teams hand to clients at the end of an engagement.

Before you start

• All preceding lifecycle steps should be complete:
  • Discovery marked complete.
  • Analysis run and findings confirmed.
  • Frameworks applied.
  • ROI calculations confirmed.
  • Stakeholder memos finalised.
  • Opportunity matrix confirmed.
• The report can be generated with some steps incomplete, but incomplete sections will appear as placeholders in the output.

Procedure

1. Open your project and click Final Report in the lifecycle stepper.
2. The Report builder panel shows which sections will be included and their current status (ready / incomplete / excluded).
3. Toggle sections on or off to control what appears in the report. All sections are on by default.
4. Click Generate report.
5. Report generation typically takes 1–2 minutes. A progress indicator shows current section being written.
6. When complete, the report previews in the browser. Review each section:
   • Click Edit section to revise any AI-written text inline.
   • Click Regenerate section to ask the AI to rewrite a specific section if the output is unsatisfactory.
7. Add a Cover page by filling in the client name, engagement date, and your firm’s name and logo in the cover page settings panel.
8. Click Finalise report to lock the version. Finalised reports can still be edited, but a new version is created for each subsequent save.

Limits and gating

• Final report generation requires at least one completed analysis run.
• Section regeneration consumes a small credit increment per section.
• Solo plan: One active finalised report version per project.
• Team / Enterprise: Version history with up to 10 saved versions.

Common issues

A section shows as a placeholder in the report. The underlying step for that section (e.g. ROI calculations) was not completed. Complete the step and regenerate the report or that section individually. Report generation fails partway through. This typically indicates a timeout on a complex section. Try regenerating only the failed section. If the full generation continues to fail, contact support@auditynow.com. Client logo is blurry in the cover page. Upload a PNG at least 400px wide. JPEG files at low resolution will appear blurry in the PDF export. Finalised report version is not appearing in deliverables. Only finalised versions (not drafts) appear in the deliverables hub. Click Finalise report if you have only saved a draft.
